This photo was a comment on the
consumer culture we live in today... writing words such as input -> output, truth, reality, image, define me, believe, news, screaming, confuse, etc. which are effected by Media. Wrapping the model in newspaper I created an almost dress after it was all wet down and plastered to her. Though not all the words are visible, I believe the comment was effective esp. in other shots that showed a shorter more scandelous dress (swimsuit under) proving the buying into messages constantly bombarding us. What will you believe? This was part of the same photo shoot once we were all done her desperately trying to wash off all the news ink. Needless to say, it left its mark for a while...

Private Reserve, Pt. 2
This is some more pics i just took for fun. The first one is one i considered using for the night shoot assignment, but i didnt think it was my best work. The next one is my neice. I dont usually enjoy pics like this, but i think this one has alot of emotion, the way shes holding her blanket and the look on her face. Also, the contrast on this one is something i really liked. The next two are from a concert i went to earlier this year, the band is Misery Signals. The first of the two i like because of the contrast/capture of the moment, and the second one i think has a very cool color/feel to it. They both also show alot of emotion, which is something i think is very important in all art.
Private Reserve
These are some pics that i have taken just for fun basically this year. The first one is from when i went to the Orange City skate park earlier this year, and the rest are from Tristate when i went to Winnipeg. I think theres a lot to look at in each of these shots, and i like the color/layout/feel of each of them.

Some Old Stuff
This is a photo I took a bit ago. A man I found fishing while I was walking around with my camera in my hometown. It's B&W darkroom print that I scanned in and managed to change to sepia tone with my minimal photoshopping skills. The funny thing about this photo is that the film got washed in my jacket. I let it dry for a bit and then processed it. All of the imperfections seem to add something rather than take away. At least to me.
